is there such thing as an adult exchange program?
new to this sub and searched here and google and wanted to hear from someone who has a little experience with this...
i might be looking for something that doesn't exist though. is there such thing as an adult exchange program for people not in school? im in my late 20s, work full time job. what i would love to find is a program where i host someone for a week or two from another country and then i get to go to their country for a couple weeks.
it really can't be more than 1 or 2 weeks max because i would have to use vacation time. thing is i can definitely afford a plane ticket, but hotels and even hostels are expensive. plus since i'd be traveling alone it would be so cool to hang out with a local who could show me around a little bit (im mostly an introvert).
