I'm offering a trip to London to my girlfriend in August but I've never done such a thing, I need your advices
So I just bought plane tickets and made a reservation near Westminster Abbey in a lovely place.
She traveled a lot (Australia, China, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Spain, Italy, England) but I only went once in London and it was my only travel experience abroad France. That's why I am looking for advices in order to visit the most iconic places of the capital. We plan to stay here for a week (13th to 20th of August).
We are both students (20 years old) and I would like some advices regarding places to visit absolutely ( I thought of Covent Garden, Camden, Piccadilly Circus and some tourist activities like taking a boat on the Thames, have a ride in the London Eye) but I can't make a proper program, there are so much things to visit in a short amount of time.
That's why I would like to have some hindsight about places I've mentioned and if there were places you guys visited that really made the trip more enjoyable.
Also, money will be an issue since I don't really know how expensive is the life in London (food, transports and so on).
Thanks (:
