Dublin or Berlin or anywhere in between! What to do with my spare week - Suggestions needed!
Hi folks, I’m looking for suggestions as to what could be done with some time I have next March - a long way away I know, but I’m looking to book flights etc now!
I’m currently hoping to be in Dublin the weekend of the 9/10/11th of March next year, and I’m due to be in Berlin the following Friday evening (16th) for an event. I had toyed with the idea of working remotely on the days in between as I’m based in a very remote part of Scotland, so returning home and then leaving again isn’t the greatest idea (and certainly not the cheapest) but now I’m considering taking the whole week off and potentially going somewhere.
I would like to avoid any suggestions of travelling between Dublin and Berlin by rail only or anything of that sort, but I would be willing to look into flights to somewhere that’s not necessarily Berlin, and then trains etc that would get me to Berlin for Friday evening, if it meant I could get to visit somewhere.
I’m not previously much of a traveller, but have always wanted to get out and about and see new places, so really hoping to get some recommendations on cities to go to, or places to visit/things to do, or even suggestions that I don’t have long enough to do anything exciting!
Looking forward to some suggestions :)
