So I'm looking at rentals from NYC to Miami, $4/day because rental companies want their cars down south for the snowbird migration. $82 to drive a car $1200 miles over a week? Hell of a deal.

Do folks know about anything similar between Seattle and LA? Is there a need to move cars south? Or maybe even north? And if so, when does that happen generally?

Checking prices for December, they're around $17, which is still not too bad. I think it was over twice that for a September rental.
