Am I going to be spending too much time in Rome? Thoughts on day trips? 25/M
Hey all, landing in Rome December 28th, I got a nice quiet airbnb for 2 nights in Trastevere to help with jetlag and sleep. Then The Yellow hostel for 3 nights to have some fun, cook with some people, join some tours hopefully. And then a nice apartment-like airbnb to myself for 6 nights right next to Termini station.
This will be my first time to Rome and my first time solo, although my 4th time to Italy. My Italian is decent enough to get around but I’m excited to improve again. I hope to make some day trips but I’m not exactly sure what’s plausible. Here’s some that places that I was thinking of; Milan, Cinque Terre, Naples, Sorrento, Brindisi, Lecce, Bari and Paestum.
Im generally an early riser (5-9am) so Im willing to put up with probably 2.5-3 hour frecciarossa each way. It’s not so important to get back to Rome each night as everything is paid for already and I don’t mind a little adventure.
Thanks for reading and any ideas for New Years in Rome?
