Which city to add to my Europe itinerary?
My three friends and I are planning to go to Europe in May to June 2018 for 4 weeks and I am debating if we should add a city to our trip or maybe extend our stay in our current cities? So far I'm thinking to add either Florence, Brussels, Cologne, or maybe Berlin although that's a little far out.
Here is our itinerary, our budget is $5,000 per person and that includes flight tickets:
Days 1-5: London; 5 nights
Days 6 - 9: Amsterdam; 4 nights
Days 10 - 13: Rome; 4 nights
days 14 - 16: Florence maybe?; 3 nights
Days: 17 - 19: Cinque Terre; 3 nights
Days: 20 - 22: Gimmelwald; 3 nights
Days: 23 - 26: Paris; 4 nights
Day 27: London; 1 night
Day 28: Back home
We will be staying at hostels to save money. Also, when do you guys recommend to start booking hostels, plane tickets, etc. and what do you recommend to budget for food? Right now I have $50 a day for food but that's an overestimation. Thanks everyone.
