Travelling with infants Question.
Planning a trip to Rome from Canada with the toddler (1.5yrs) and we're looking at flights. My wife is of one opinion and I'm of another. My parents are in between. Would like some advice from others who have done it before. There will be us and my parents who are 70
option 1 is hometown->YYZ->Munich->Rome and then FCO->YYZ->hometown on the way back. It's about 16hrs total time there and the flight from yyz is about toddler's bedtime
OPtion 2 is yyC->AMS-FCO both ways. and is about 14hrs there. with 1.5 hrs in AMS. flight back leaves at 6am from FCO with 4hr layover in AMS. this is also $125 pp more
Trying to weigh up the option of one more leg of the flight and good sleeping time or one less leg and probably about half a night's sleep on the flight for toddler.
Toddler has flown to Australia and was great both ways, sleeping all the way but that's when toddler was 6mos.
