Traveling With Kitty
My boyfriend wants to drop everything and travel the world, playing his guitar for money. This is something that he has wanted for a long time and it's something that I've often dreamed of but didn't think I could ever do. Now, with it being a very real option as our lease is ending in November, I'm getting stressed about not knowing what 'the plan' is.
I want to go with him and our best friend, but my cat has become like my kid and I don't want to give him up. I fully believe in keeping an animal that you've made a commitment to and not re-homing unless it is absolutely unavoidable or in the best interest of the pet. If we do decide to travel, I know it will be hard with a cat but I don't want to give him up as he helps me a lot with my emotional stability.
I know it's more common with dogs, but has anyone ever just quit their life and traveled with their pet cat? I'm looking for any advice that people can give me.
