Solo Euro Trip 2 — How do I meet people?
In 2015, I spent 3 months on my own in Europe. I was in a strange place in my life and did not make a single friend.. I was alienated and alone. In hindsight, this was a powerful experience that has directed my life at home, but in the moment it was very disturbing.
I’m going to Germany for a month at the end of October and my goal is to not repeat my first solo experience — I want to meet as many people as possible. Locals, travelers, old, young, all. So what are some ways that I can avoid loneliness in Europe? Any tips or ideas to meet people?
