Planning to backpack around south America. What are the best resources to help plan?
Hey guys!
Finally graduated and saved enough money (I hope £10,000/$13,000 is enough, not including flights, jabs etc)! Planning to go backpacking in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Equador and Columbia. I absolutely can't wait! Then I'm doing 6 months in South East Asia, with another £10,000/$13,000. Definitely want to do pretty basic hostels mostly, take local transport and also I don't drink alcohol which should save me a bit!
Anyway, sorry for waffling on, I'm just excited!
What were your favourite resources for guides on each place, what is the best/worst month to visit certain countries, cool places to visit etc? I'm going to be heading to Rio on the 25th January, so need to get planning!
Thanks all :)
