Need Tips: Visiting Yellowstone During Christmas Week
So my friends and I are planning to go to Yellowstone via Colorado during Chrismas week. That's because we get a week paid vacation during Christmas and instead of sitting on our asses, this year we decided we wanted to do something fun and make memories doing something adventurous during our brief work hiatus.
At the moment, the plan is to travel from the east coast to the midwest in a single SUV (maybe two, but unlikely based on the number of people we have atm).
I've never been this out west before so I don't know where to go and what to see either in Colorado or in Yellowstone. Currently, we're planning on spending more time in Yellowstone than in Colorado, but that could change depending on the tips I get from Y'all. In short, nothing is set in stone yet.
I will really appreciate any tips that I can get from people who've been there (Colorado or Yellowstone) about the places we should see, or something we should be aware/wary of. In short, anything that you can tell me that could help us in any way--including any must-have gears during wintertime. Thank you all for your time in advance.
