Motivation to travel solo abroad
Im a male in my early 40s , i believe im financial stable, no obligations or responsibilities, I stopped working (as in actually working , going to a job) when i was 38, i still have incoming funds from investments i make.
I live in the U.S and so far traveled solo to NYC (3x), San Francisco , Miami, Fl, Key West, Fl, Huston texas , all these places except Bolivia, South America i only stayed for max 5 days at a time, I have family in Bolivia so it was not a solo trip.
On most of these trips i remember feeling home sick towards the end of my trip, i would miss lil things like lounging in my couch , eating things in my daily routine life , basically missing the comforts of home lol.
I am a introvert ,so i do enjoy and prefer my alone time which sometimes can cause that i dont really socialize with people to often.
My upcoming plans for 2018 is to visit Cuzco and Machu Pichu, then head towards Bolivia, i would love to do a 2 month trip but dont know if i would last that long away from home.
