Hello,
I want to travel with my gf in October. Last year we did Isle of Skye and rented a whole house for 350 euros. For anyone who hasn't been there, it's very quiet, clean air, a bit windy and cold, beautiful scenery and very secluded. You have your house and no one around (for a few hundreds meters, maybe more).

We will be in Paris next month and we're looking for a similar place that is up to 6 hours drive from Paris. What's important is:
1. Price - up to 500 euros for a week.

  1. Self sustaining - a fully equipped house, kitchen a must, fire place a big plus.

  2. Weather - as bad as possible. ;)

We will spend most of the time at the house, with a few walks around the area and maybe take the car a few times.

Any ideas?
