I'm planning to visit Australia from mid December till mid/late February.

I'm flying into Sydney and using it as my base. I'll be staying with a family member in Sydney.

Now I've done minimal research so far, but I wanna visit the zoo in Sydney, do the touristy stuff like the Opera House, beaches etc etc.

I know that I wanna go to Canberra for the War Museum and then possibly onto Melbourne.

Can anyone that's visited or lives in Australia, give any tips, information, or any recommendations for stuff to go do in Australia!
