If you were a first-time solo traveler with a month off in February and a budget of $4,000, where would you go and what would you do?
I was granted a month off of work this February to travel. I'd like to spend less than $4,000 total, and I'd like to go somewhere warm and friendly towards foreigners.
My first thought was Thailand/Cambodia, to complete part of the Banana Pancake trail, but I'd love to hear advice from more experienced solo travelers.
I'm female, 25, and originally from New Hampshire. Ideally I'd like to hike and climb, but also get out of my comfort zone and try new experiences.
