I seem to not enjoy traveling with friends?
I'm 22M. I went to Seoul for 2 weeks solo in July. I think it was the best decision I've made in my life , and I'm already planning 4 weeks trip allover South-Korea next spring. I'm really into gaming and I went to LCK matches and met a lot of locals!! I went to the restaurants I wanted to go to and I respected the Korean culture. I always greeted with "Annyeonghaseyo!"(Hello!) and "gomabseubnida" (thank you) for example. But anyways , I went with my friends to Finland last weekend , just a weekend trip in Helsinki and Tampere. I realized how much I've become hating travelling with others. I'm really much of a outsider that loves gaming and hates clubbing. The first evening my friends dragged me with them to a club. It was so loud and hot air , and drunk people dancing into you. I just thought "omg I wish I was home now and playing games". Before the trip I asked my friends to respect Finnish culture and learn some basic phrases like "Kitos"(thank you) Aanteeksi(Excuse me) Terva(hello) , but they just went straight to people and spoke English to them. They also founded necessary to keep grouped all the time(4 of us) , Also my friends seem to find it necessary to drink all the time. That was my attitude when I was 16 years old , I sometimes think I'm so much more mature then they are. We are 22 years old today. After the trip my friends said "we are not sure if we are going to traveling with you again" , but honestly , I'm fine with that. Only thing they want to do is going on some jet ski on beaches in Spain or Florida.(Which is also something I wanted to do when I was 16-17) While I want to explore cities , culture and food , museums and that kind of things. Is someone else having similar feeling here?
