Georgia/Armenia travel suggestions
Hi everyone.
Off to GE/AM next week and would like some help and suggestions for people that have been there. We are potentially trying to fit in too much into 16d but we are spending around 3d in Tbs, train to Yerevan, then 3d in Yerevan, travel north back up via Lake Sevan for 1d to Tbs, another 2d in Tbs, flight up to Mestia, 2d in Mestia then via Kutaisi to Batumi to end to relax and unwind.
My questions are:

Apart from Bassiani in Tbs (we are fans of techno etc - been to Berghain etc.), can you recommend any good bars and clubs? (

Can anyone recommend a specific day tour of Kakheti from Tbs, would like to go on a nice vineyard tour/wine tasting. Perhaps there is a reasonable 2d tour?

In fact, can you recommend any tour companies which aren't rip-offs in both capitals? We don't fancy renting a car but might do if they seem too pricey.

Is it possible to rent hiking boots in Mestia? We have a weight limit on the internal flight so would prefer not to take our own boots with us if we can help it.

Any particular dishes or wines that blew you away? Nice restaurants?

Will it be easy to get a taxi or Marshrukta from Sevan to Tbs?

Are there ATMs in Mestia?

Is it possible to get from Mestia (or somewhere around there) to Batumi in one day? I am thinking we might decide to stay there an additional night.

Any worthwhile day trips doing from Batumi? We had anticipated that we would just spend our days drinking and eating but if there is some other fun stuff to do around we'd be up for that.

Any other tips?
