In one week I will be traveling for a month to Eastern Europe (Hungary, Prague, Austria & Serbia) as well as parts of Greece (on a cruise) and Rome/Venice Italy.

Specific Places:

Venice/Rome Italy

Vienna Austria

Budapest Hungary

Prague 1, Czechia

Belgrade, Serbia

I am a fairly boring person when it comes to food - I play it safe (like chicken nuggets and fries - its pathetic, I know). But for this trip I want to each something new, special and local to each place I am visiting. I'm open to drinks I should try as well, but honestly I don't drink that much so its not as big a drive for me personally.

Do you have any tips? I don't want to have to spend a ton of money since this trip is already dwindling our travel savings quite a bit! But please give me all your options and I will price them out!

So far the only suggestion I have been given is:

Budapest Hungary: Langos: A deep fried flatbread.
