First time away in November recommendations

I'm looking to get some ideas or suggestions for my first ever trip away of 5 days in November with a friend who has travelled quite a few times before, something warm (or at least not cold cold) with a relaxing feel and some ability for a night out would be good.

We would be going from the UK and I think avoiding France (it's just over the sea) and USA (Big and Las Vegas is $$$), there isn't a budget agreed as such but I would imagine £700 might be a good high end figure?

Really just looking for somewhere to have a nice time, not necessarily be on a beach every day but enjoy the time, area and local places - I'm liking the look of Singapore because it looks "shiny".

Any suggestions would be appreciated, I'm continuing to look through the r/travel posts.
