Europe travel agent?
Hi my family (myself and my parents in their 60s) have never really done a big trip outside of the US together. So we want to go to Europe. We had some issues with mom, and in the end she said her issue was she just wanted a travel agent to figure it out for her. However one rarely thinks of travel agents any more. The local one hasn't updated their office in 20 years.. All these sites look terrible. Worst is letting a software system put together the trip, or even more worse getting stuck on a tour bus and have every minute planned. How does one get a good travel agent or plan out these trips? We were thinking 2 weeks at christmas. I am considering moving to Germany so I want to visit there, dad wants Rome, mom is harder to peg down as shes already done a lot of traveling..
We just want to be able to get to our hotel get our travel taken care of and be handed a list of places to go see, no guide. Or maybe limited guide, I just don't want to not have freedom and be in a cluster of people
