Croatia - Greece Honeymoon
Good afternoon everyone. So I am getting married next August and have been tasked with planning my entire honeymoon since my fiance has never been abroad. I know my preparation is quite premature but I can't stop thinking about it. I have somewhat of an idea where specifically we want to go, but I was hoping all the wise r/travel users could help me with some things. (Also, please bear with me because I'm a mobile user)
First things first, the destinations we are interested in:
Greece: - Crete - Santorini - Athens
Croatia: - Split - Dubrovnik - Hvar - Plitvice Park
Here's where it gets really interesting (and difficult). I swore to myself that next time I was in Europe that I would go to a Manchester City game and I'm dead set on catching a flight up there. Does anyone think this is actually possible?
The dates:
Middle of August 2018 - Early September 2018
I know this is a pretty short time frame to experience a lot things but unfortunately I cannot take any more time off of work.
My main questions are where do you think the best place to fly into would be? And if you have been to the countries above, your favorite/favorite thing to do or see? I will be flying out of either South Carolina or North Carolina.
