Hello all!

This is my first out of the States trip and I'm getting nervous about what to pack. My DH has traveled abroad before but always in the summer time so the list of things to pack would be different. We will be in the UK (Specifically Edinburgh, Dufftown and Oxford) October 5-14th. The weather is looking to be in the teens (Celsius).

My question is - what do we freaking pack?!

Besides the basic toiletries and what not, I understand our personal needs there and can accommodate those. But do I need rain boots? Do we need hiking shoes if we are just walking around and not truly hiking? Should they be water proof? What brand shoes do you recommend? What clothing do we wear? Is rain really going to happen like every single day? What type of backpack or daily pack should we have?

I'm just at a loss and probably over thinking it at this point. But I don't want to over or under pack.
