£600 and 5 days to spend it
My friend and I have little holiday allowance left to use before the year closes, paired with a small budget our options are limited. We are both 23 and have the done the typical "lads" holiday but that's not necessarily what we are looking for this time around. Looking to go for about 4 days, maybe Thurs - Mon. This is what we have been considering:
Budget Probably the main thing this is revolving around, we can stretch it if something sounds worth it but preferably not. A total of about £650 is what we were thinking. Don't necessarily need a 5-star hotel to enjoy ourselves. Thinking of going early October.
Destinations We have had a look at a lot of European destinations like Paris, Spain etc. but our imagination doesn't think of much more than the typically touristy destinations. Places we are interested in include, but are not limited to; France, Croatia, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, We even looked at climbing Kilimanjaro but this turned out to much more pricey than we expected. So more adventurous things are always an option. Weather isn't too important but sun is always good.
Interests A bit more than just sunny beaches. Culture, adventurous activities, active things. My friend has been learning French so I imagine he would enjoy practicing that. Definitely open to new experiences that we may not have even considered.
Ask away if you need me to clarify anything but feel free to share your own experiences and recommendations!
Once a year, go somewhere you've never been before
