29/F traveling solo in France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands - need a couple details filled in. Any tips?

I have 18 days to spend in Europe. A chunk is already planned, as I'm going over with my s.o., and will be with her in Paris and Marseille the 26-Oct 6. I do have some few-day stretches that I'd like to fill with short trips.

Right now I have Sep 29-Oct 1 booked in Spain--a beachside budget hotel in Llafranc (Hotel Terralet) and a "fancy hostel" in Sant Feliu de Pallarols (Santuari de la Salut) in the Garrotxa Volcanic Nature Reserve. I'll be traveling from Marseille and I'm still trying to clear up exactly how I'll get there. I am shaky on manual transmission so I can bite the bullet on renting an automatic car. I also have a lead on a BlaBlaCar ride from Aix to Girona which I may snag. Any other transport ideas? I looked into Flixbus and found many horror stories, but I take Megabus and Spirit all the time here so I'm tentatively willing to test my luck.

Oct 6-10 I am trying (from Paris) to hit Amsterdam (1 night preferably somewhere in the intersection of gay and 420. This ain't my first AMST rodeo so looking for chiller spots.), Berlin (2 nights with a friend in Kreuzberg) and somewhere between Berlin and Paris (1 night, probably Cologne but also any suggestions for equidistant quiet, relaxing nature spots would be great too!). Again have some BlaBla options but I'm afraid of relying too much on one service. These fears are probably unfounded but hey, I'm a suspicious Scorpio.

I can't afford the train because though we booked in May, we started planning for this very last-minute (not my idea, long story) and fares are super high. Same with budget airlines, it appears. So I'm looking bus, rideshare, car rental or some other mode I can't think of.

How would you do these trips if it were up to you? If it helps I'm a native Spanish speaker, speak French well, doing well in Catalan Duolingo and have no skills in Dutch or German. (But I'm not as worried about a language barrier in major cities in Germany or Netherlands.)

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

(Apologies if this is off-topic or already covered, etc. I'm new. Feel free to delete or whatever if necessary.)
