What is the best way to handle money when traveling Europe?
I'm going to be traveling to Europe in a couple of months. I keep reading suggestions on getting a Capital One credit and debit card as they often have no fees, but I don't live anywhere near a CapOne bank, and I don't want to go applying for credit cards that I don't even know if they carry an international fee or if I'll get accepted.
My last credit card had a $3,000 limit, but my credit score is just <700 so I don't want to waste my time all to get a credit card with a $500 limit. Should I just take cash and pay the fee to exchange? This is all very frustrating, and I can't find anyone to talk to.
