Traveling Alone? (repost from r/travel)
Hi everyone, I was just pointed in this direction from r/travel, nice to meet y'all. Soon I'm taking a short domestic trip alone which will be fun and shouldn't be that big of a deal, but some of my minor anxieties got me wondering more about people who travel alone often, especially internationally. I'm curious to hear about your experiences. Obviously the freedom and flexibility is a great plus, but what else can you tell me? Are there any precautions you take to ensure a safe, worry-free trip without a partner to lean on? Have you learned a lot about yourself from your solo-travels? Thanks and safe travels everyone!
