Planning a (mostly) hiking trip to Oregon/Washington for late spring early summer next year
I'm planning a 12-14 day vacation to the western/coastal parts of Washington and Oregon in late spring/early summer next year and wanted some advice on where to start the trip, where to end the trip, best times of day for driving, cant miss spots along the way and cheap places to stay.. A few places I would really like to visit in Oregon are Portland, Bend, Columbia River Gorge, Willamette National Forest and Crater Lake. And a few places in Washington I would like to visit are Seattle, Olympic National park, Mt. Pilchuck state park and Mt. Ranier. Where are your favorite spots for nature/hiking in these two states and how accessible are the ones I just listed... Thanks in advance for your help...
