People who travel to other countries for work, what do you do and how do you qualify?
I have a Bachelors in Graphic Design and a Minor in Art History but I've been out of college for 4 years and haven't used them. My long term SO has his Bachelors in Physics and an Associates in Criminal Justice but he hasn't used his either. I tattooed for 3 years and have worked security for 4. He roasts coffee and has for 4 years and worked in a deli for 5. We want to work abroad and are looking at our options. We're learning Spanish and I'm learning French. We live in the USA.
We would like to live together wherever we end up. I'm not opposed to TEFL and was considering getting my Masters in International Affairs/Communications but I'd rather not increase my student debt.
That's why I made this post. We want to see how other people travel for work and how they got into it. Thanks for any stories/suggestions/advice!
