A friend and I are to Europe for the first time in November. Planning to stay one day/night in the UK on my way from Ireland to Mainland Europe. I would love to see London, but i think it might be too much to take in for just being there one night. I'm looking for a recommendation of a town (big or small) that would be a good place to spend a day and night in. We are in our mid twenties, we love beer, music, meeting new people but this city doesn't have to be a big one. If you've been to a small town that you just loved, I'd like to hear about it!
