Is it necessary to meet the sizer requirements for carry one for domestic flights?
I went to a small luggage store to check out Travel pro bags. I looked up my most frequent plane (jet blue and American) for their requirements and found them to be 22 x 14 x 9. I checked out most of the common recommendations (e.g. Travel Pro, Briggs, Samsonite) and they were all over the recommended size. Now on my last trip to Vegas there were bags definitely larger than this. What gives? Are the air lines actually strict about this or do they accept that most people have older luggage that's .5 or 1" larger? I need to buy a bag asap and am a little worried.
