Ireland travel end of Dec/early Jan. Bad or good idea?
My boyfriend and I are looking to go to Ireland (flying from the US) from 12/28 to 1/9 because we love to travel and the plane tickets are relatively cheap ($600 RT). Ive never been to Ireland although I have been to Paris in mid December (totally different country I know) and it wasn't bad at all. Is it worth it to go during this time? I know the daylight is limited and it could be very rainy but I've always wanted to go to Ireland and tickets get so expensive during tourist season. We also wouldn't be renting a car as we are under 25 and it's very pricy.
