Going on a 2-week 4-city Europe Tour With a Buddy. A few questions on each.

Hello /r/travel!

We're two guys geeks going on a quick 2-week tour to Paris, Vienna, Barcelona and Rome planning to stay about 2 1/2 days at each location (besides the flights). I've been to the first three on business mostly during the low season so I know how to get around but never had the time to actually tour. Still, since I'm the one stuck planning, I've a few questions:

  • Eateries: what are some must-try ones in each that won't punch a hole in our collective wallet? We're not much for fancy stuff, we don't drink, and we're specifically looking to sample the highlights of the local cuisine; pizza and pasta in Rome, tapas in BCN, schnitzels and pastry in Vienna. As for Paris, point us toward your favorite bistro, if you please.

  • Coffee shops: I'm a huge coffee nut. I've already had the Champs-Elysees 'experience' in Paris, but I'd like recommendations for better coffee places, preferably places that are atmospheric, quiet and indoors. Same for the other cities.

  • Concerts and shows: We'll be in Rome from 27/8-30/8, Vienna 30/8-2/9, Paris 2/9-5/9 and BCN 5/9-8/9. I don't know jack about the good ones and we're looking to attend at least two at each city (one for each full day). We like classical music but other genres are fine too. I was also hoping to get L'Olympia in Paris off my bucket list, but there doesn't seem to be anything big going on on those dates :(

  • Time management: Getting specific here. Rome: First time for me. If you had only two full days, where would you go to make the most out of it? Vienna: Can we realistically go to the Seegrotte caves then back for a few museums in one day? The other day will be probably spent on the Schonbrunn-Hofburg tour and Schonbrunn zoo. Paris: I'm trying to convince my buddy otherwise, but is it worth going to Disneyland for only 1 day? He also thinks we could cram the Louvre, Eiffel tower AND Versailles in just one day, which I highly doubt since it's the season. What do you think?

Edit: silly bonus question! Where and when to watch Game of Thrones' finale in Rome? Or are we doomed to dodge spoilers?

Thanks in advance! :)
