Hi all,

You may have come across my post from a day or two ago (http://ift.tt/2iHcPli). I've decided to go to Medellin. I will be going alone, and this is my first international trip abroad. I'm very excited. I'm heading out from the states 29 September and will be there until the night of 10 Oct. I have a couple of questions:

-For the visa: none is required for a tourist visa, but do I need to fill out anything/inform anyone? Do I just pop in with my passport and get admitted? The embassy website didn't have mush on this

-Hostel Recommendations?

-Odds and ends? (charger adapters, exchanging money, etc)

-General recommendations or advice for a solo traveler going to this location?
