Are 3-day Weekends enough for traveling distant locations?
Hi everyone!
So, I am possibly going to be getting a new job soon with a pretty nice work-life balance it seems. (4/10 week days as an option, meaning work 4 days, off 3 days per week). That being said, I mainly have two questions. I have never done much traveling in my life, so I'm not very familiar with planning a trip for myself.
My first question is: is 3 days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) enough to get a decent weekend vacation in? For example, if I wanted to fly from say, Georgia to California and meet some friends, would 3 days be enough time to enjoy myself, if planned properly?
My second question is, and idk how reasonable of a question this is so forgive me if it's just dumb, but I am a single male, that with the new job will be making ~60k a year. I know it will come down to planning properly, but is it reasonable to assume I could take maybe 2-3 of these weekend vacations a year?
