Maldivian Airlines has introduced new destination direct flights from August 7th, 2013 to Colombo from the capital of Male plus Gan Island in the southernmost of the Maldives. The route has targeted for Tourism, business and Medical service. This is how, Maldive is now expecting more tourists than before. Maldivian Airline is going to operate an airbus A320 aircraft to Colombo. This airbus is configured with 14 business class and 138 economy class seats. Recently, the Maldivian Airline purchase Dash 8 Q300 Aircraft which has been added into their fleet.It also noted that Maldivian Airline has huge potential because of Geographic situation between Middle East and South East Asia.
