4000 miles, 10-day solo road trip (female)- just wanna say THANKS to the community
I've been living on the east coast (cities) for the past 9 years and never learned how to drive. Finally got my license this March after moving to the Bay Area in 2020. Decided to do my first-ever solo road trip since I need to drop off some stuff in OK. Despite the nerve-racking, last-minute planning and occasional boring, loong drives, I had such an amazing time seeing the parts of America I've never been exposed to, not to mention the amazing restaurants, parks, coffee shops, viewpoints, and people. Never a moment I felt lonely or scared. Now all I can think about is when and where would my next road trip be. I just want to use this post as an appreciation note for this wonderful community and all the wonderful, insightful posts I've come across during my research.
