Buckling up when driving 10+ hours... yay or nay?
So a funny little comment my wife made today got me thinking about driving across country in general (as we prepare to do so during the summer). She rarely buckles up as the driver, mainly for comfort. I always get onto her about it. Today I was on the phone with her (her car has speaker phone) and I heard the SeatBelt Alarm blaring. I let her know she needs to buckle. Her response?
"Oh, that's the Congratulations Beep that I get every time I buckle up!"
Adorable. And, no.
Or maybe?
We will be driving back and forth across the country. If the seatbelt really makes her uncomfortable, would it actually be more unsafe to have her drive? Thoughts?
