Barisal is also known as Venice of the East. It has area about 2790.51 km2 .It was the semi-independent place in the Mughal time. Barisal is the biggest river port hub in Bangladesh. The city is also connected by Air. Barisal has lots of tourists attraction due to water ways. Megna River touches the the city and its state. Whereas, Kirtankhola River is the busiest river like Dubai, Arab Sea. The reason is that road connection are no good whereas ship or Air connection is best.
