BC's Highway 3 - Motorcycle Trip Recommendations
We appreciate any notes or recommendations. It would be our first time cruising Highway 3 and got about 4-5 nights with some flex. We'll start from Vancouver and then hop on Highway 1 and can go as far as Nelson.
It will just be us on a Harley so packing would be minimal but will include a small tent and our hiking boots. As much as we would love to take 10km hikes, we wouldn't be too keen being far from the bike but still would appreciate recommendations for short trails with a lovely vista. We will pull over for bridges and enjoy a refreshing river/lake to float in, as well. We are extremely covid conscious so aren't particularly fond of bloated party/touristy spots but would still like to experience true Southern BC beauty! Small resorts and mom and pop restaurants are welcome!
