San Diego, CA -> Las Cruces, NM U.S.A
We’ll be driving from San Diego to a town just passed Las Cruces this summer with a toddler, two dogs, and a cat (we’re moving) We’ll probably stop around Yuma to let the pets and my daughter stretch and eat. Then we’ll be stopping in Tucson overnight.
Now I’m not sure where to stop and break up the Tucson to Las Cruces leg of the trip! (5 hours) are there any cool towns on the way to stop in? Or a shaded park to let the dogs out (I’m worried about their paws in the summer heat!)
