Where to even start!?
Hi all, I’m in the very early stages of planning my first solo trip and I’m looking for advice on how/where you started your plan and got past the blank page. I’m a super organized person, and usually a great planner, but I’m a bit overwhelmed due to the long-term nature of this trip. I definitely want to have some sort of a skeleton plan in place. If the plan changes once I’m on the trip, so be it.
Did you start with the complete list of where you wanted to go? Pick a start location and plan from there? Specific attractions or things to do? I imagine living accommodations and transportation between places comes near the end.
So far, all I know is that I’m aiming for a begin date of August 2020 on a budget of ~$1.3k/month for 3-6 months. I have a list of countries and cities that I’d like to see and I’m 26M if that matters.
I’ve been eyeing a return to Amsterdam as the starting point, but suggestions are welcomed.
