My first solo trip - help me find the perfect destination!
Hello fellow travellers. Due to certain events in my recent past, I am going to travel on my own this year. I am a 36 years old male from Germany and have never done this before, so I am a little bit nervous about it. Right now, I am asking myself two questions and you might help me with those.
1.: Is travelling solo my kind of thing? How should I approach my solo trip? What are necessary characteristics for a solo traveller? Usually I am more of a hotel guy, but I think staying in Hostels would make it easier for me to get to know new people, right?
2.: Where to go? This is a little bit more complex, so here is a bit more information about myself:
I have already traveled to: Croatia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Vatican, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Poland, Russia, China, Cyprus, Jordan, Oman, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Egypt, Tunisia, USA, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay. I'd like to avoid revisiting those places.
Length About two weeks.
Budget I'd like to spend less than 3.000€ including flights. Staying below 2.500€ would be even better.
Climate I'm most comfortable with temperatures around 20 to 30 degrees, but this is not the most important thing to me. I'd much rather like to avoid any rainy seasons.
Interests Food, Culture, a bit of nightlife, nature. So basically everything :-)
