Itinerary Critique: Europe in Winter
Ok, so I'm pretty set on doing a trip though Europe next winter from late February to late March. Just want to run this by you guys before I book flights to see if it makes sense! Main questions are just comments on length of stay in given places, and where I should stay in the Alps. Also if anyone has any really unique/adventurous experiences available near where I'm planning I'd love to hear them (ie scuba diving, skydiving, something like that). Also I'm open to doing this in backwards order (Germany > Greece), but I think it makes more sense weather wise to go this way. Let me know.
Athens (5 nights, one of which probably on a nearby island)
Fly to Rome, 4 nights there
Train to Florence, 2 nights there
Train to Venice, 2 nights there
Go to somewhere in the Italian/Austrian Alps (Innsbruck? The Dolomites area?) Probably 2 nights?
Train to Munich, 4 nights there
Train to Prague, 2 nights there
Train to Berlin, 5 nights there
Fly back to US
Thanks and happy travels!
