Mexico to Bolivia. 9 months. How's my plan?
Hi /r/solotravel. Planning to a trip next year starting from Mexico and making my down to Bolivia. Current plan is to take around 9 months starting September 2018 (but that's not set in stone).
I've travelled solo before. 4 months in south-east Asia, 4 months in Nepal and India.
I don't really stick to a schedule/plan when I travel but I like a to have a rough idea of how to move forward. I have a pretty rough itinerary below and am open to suggestions/criticisms. I think it's a pretty solid plan, but I thought I'd share in case i've missed something or made a silly mistake.
Also I thought about continuing to Chile and Argentina but I'm a bit iffy on te weather? Would be great to do hiking in these areas but I think it would be too cold around this time of the year.
Mid September to end of October - Mexico: Mexico city, Oaxaca, Yucatan area. Planning to do Spanish immersion class around Oaxaca for a week or two
ovember - Guatemala: Planning to do even more Spanish immersion classes
December to end of January - El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama. Would like to stay at a surf camp at some point learn how to surf. Maybe too much in two months?
February - Colombia: want to learn salsa dancing while I'm here
March - Ecuador
April - Peru: Salkantay trek
May - Bolivia
