Travel to South East Asia for 3 weeks starting at the end of May
I'm traveling to South East Asia to see what I can see. I'm down for (mostly) anything. I don't have a hard agenda for the trip. All I know for sure if I'm going to Khao San Road, I've heard it's like a half-way house between the East and the West.
I definitely want to check out the local cultures, local food, some Buddhist sites, maybe some Muay Thai fights, and some awesome relaxing beaches. Super touristy stuff, I can take it or leave it. I'm a big fan of off the beaten path destinations.
Any general advice? Recommendations for Hostels? Cool places? Warnings? Suggestions? Well wishes?
