Is this too aggressive for 6 days in Morocco?
I’m going to be doing a trip with a group to Portugal/Spain in September and I’m interested in going on a 6 day solo trip to Morocco since I’ll be close and have always wanted to go. I’m thinking of an itinerary that looks like:
Day 1: arrive in Fez
Day 2-3: Fez
Day 4: travel to Chefchaouen early in the morning
Day 5: travel to Tangier
Day 6: Tangier
Day 7: fly back to Spain to get my flight to the US
I’m really just looking for a laid back trip, enjoying the day wandering around town taking in the culture with some good food and potentially a day trip to the mountains while in Fez.
I know it’s a good amount of traveling I’ve read it’s about 6-8 hours on the bus from Fez to Tangier but I don’t mind eating that time.
What do you guys think? Should I cut the trip to just Fez and maybe Chefchaouen?
Would also love any recommendations for these three towns if you know of any!
