2 Week Euro Trip – First Solo

I'll be starting the trip in Amsterdam in Late June and ending in Basel 2 weeks later. As of now I have my first weekend planned in Amsterdam, and loosely planned last 3 days in the Dolomites before heading to Switzerland to fly out. The whole chunk in the middle I'm still trying to figure out.

Currently I'm thinking

  • Amsterdam – 3 days
  • Fly to Croatia – 3 days
  • Go north to Slovenia – 3 days
  • Dolomites – 3 Days
  • Switzerland – 1-2 Days

Does anybody have thoughts our recommendations along that itinerary? Other ways to fill the time in between Amsterdam and Italy? I'd like to get some time near the water, and this being my first trip to Europe, am trying to take "peak season" into consideration, though not too sure what that's like on the ground / in different places.
