Hilsha (Ilish) is national fish in Bangladesh. This fish is much tasty than any fishes in Bangladesh. The reason of its famous taste is due to its sweet-water rivers in Padma, Meghna, Jamuna etc. Among rivers, Padma Ilish is number one which exports to world wide in all restaurants around the world after covering the consumption demand through out the country. Panta, a type of rice mix with necessary amount of water is very popular. This is the main food in Bangladeshi village food.
